How to wear A Helmet and check if
it’s fit
1.
Select
a Helmet closest to your Head size.
2. Expand
the Helmet by pulling the chin straps and slide your head in.
3.
Once
worn, make sure the inner lining fits snugly over your head.
4. The
top pad should touch the top of your head and cheek pads should touch your
cheeks.
5. Now,
try rotating the Helmet without moving your head. If the helmet moves easily,
get a smaller size.
6. Fasten
the chin strap tightly and try to move the Helmet in a forward and backward
motion. If the helmet comes off in either direction, it’s too large.
7. To remove the Helmet, open the chin straps
spread it and lift it backward direction & rest it on the neck then remove
it.
Precautions on Inadvertent Damage to
Helmets
1. Do not “park” Helmet on mirror stalks or sissy bar to
avoid damage to liner.
2. Do not carry Helmets
on the motorcycle‘s lock while riding to avoid exhaust pipe burns, tire
abrasion, and strap damage.
3. Keep Helmet out of the reach of pet to avoid interior
being chewed like a shoe, or scratched like sofa, as all too often happens.
Such damage can be irreparable.
4. Do not expose Helmet to solvents including gasoline, or
their fumes to avoid damage to shields, small plastic components and interior.
How to clean Helmet Interior
1. Remove Cheek pads and lining by gently pulling out. They
are held by Velcro or push-buttons, so just pull out.
2. Put removed Cheek pads and linings into a washing bag with detergent and wash them on the “gentle” or “hand-wash setting”.
3. After washing the liner and cheek pads, you can hang them
out to dry. Do not apply heat because it
can cause them to shrink and then they will no longer fit the Helmet.
4. Fix the dry Cheek pads and liner properly & use your
Helmet regularly.
5.Note:
this is only for Helmet with removable
interior
